Spirit was the start of the Acoma Border Collies. Bred by Mark & Robyn Powley of Darkwind, she is a grand-daughter of the first Border Collie champion in the USA: NZ Ch/Am Ch Clan-Abby To-Hell-And-Back, "Helen." Her sire is a blue merle, Passims California Blue, imported from the U.K. Spirit was bred in 2000 to "Rio" Ch Darkwind's Blame It On Rio, producing our star girl, Rain. Spirit is OFA Good and with eyes CERF certified normal. All four puppies passed their eye exams too. We are considering a repeat of this mating in the future.
